"On Court with USPTA" is the cable TV show produced by the United States Professional Tennis Association. In this episode USPTA Master Professional Jorge Capestany shows viewers how they can compete against aggressive baseliners.
All players have encountered the aggressive baseliner that attacks with power and pace, forcing short rallies and hitting lots of winners. This type of opponent can make it very difficult to ever get in control of the point. However, Capestany will demonstrate how viewers can compete against this type of player using several tactics to disrupt the opponent and stall the aggression. These tips will help viewers frustrate the aggressive baseliner and force him/her to hit more errors.
The show covers the following:
Isolating the weakness
Coming to the net more
Mixing up the pace
Serving to the body
Using more slice
