The annual USPTA Tennis Across America^TM program is sponsored by the United States Professional Tennis Association. Just like in previous years, Tennis Across America events can be held at any time of the year as long as the event is registered before the July 2 deadline.

Colorful history and valuable publicity
Tennis Across America has a long and colorful history and is a great way to kick off your spring programming and increase your lesson base.

The event was developed in response to a call from the Tennis Industry Council for each industry group to create and implement a project in 1990 that would promote tennis to current and potential recreational players.

Tennis - for the health of it! has been a concept that, even though we all intuitively knew we were doing something healthy, has given us tools to articulate the idea better. 1. There is no court availability

Counter - Though some would point to no availability; many would say that there are ways to work around this problem. If you work at a facility that has limited court availability, try approaching the head pro or general manager about hosting a one-hour free clinic to help promote the facility to the surrounding area.

A tribute to George Bacso

The late Bacso was a 32-year USPTA member, national president and longtime director of certification and academies.
