Bridgewater, MA

Bridgewater State University is the backbone of higher education for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. In partnering with the USTA, they add to the Department of Movement Arts, Health Promotion and Leisure Studies' longstanding success by introducing a Professional Tennis Management Graduate Certificate Program to New England, the first of its kind. BSU has collaborated with the USTA to develop a relevant curriculum to prepare students for all levels of coaching opportunities, club and facility management, and all business areas associated with the tennis industry. Paired with one of their master's degree programs, students will gain skills and earn opportunities to succeed in their dream jobs.

The USTA-endorsed, Professional Tennis Management (PTM) Graduate Certificate is a one-year, 16-credit graduate certificate, low residency, cohort-based program. All PTM courses are available online or hybrid, except for a required short on-campus residency. A 3-credit internship experience in the tennis industry is required.
