Recreational Coach Membership Application
Thank you for applying for the Recreational Coach membership to the United States Professional Tennis Association. Please carefully review the following procedures:
- Please fill out the application.
- Submit your nonrefundable Recreational Coach prorated dues for the current year.
You may also elect to purchase into the USPTA’s $6 million of liability insurance coverage. The USPTA protects you and your family against potentially devastating losses with on-court liability/bodily injury and property damage insurance. It covers Recreational Coaches while practicing, playing, teaching or officiating tennis, pickleball and platform tennis in the United States, its territories and Canada. To elect the liability insurance, click the box on the payment portion of the application. If you do not elect to purchase the Liability Insurance at this time you may do so later by calling the Membership department. Please note the cost of liability insurance is not prorated and will cost the same no matter what time of the year it is purchased. In addition, you can also purchase additional insurance for your facility at an additional cost.
- You will be considered an Applicant Member with certain benefits until you take either the Professional Tennis Coaches Academy 1 (PTCA-1) or the six online courses and one webinar of Coach Youth Tennis.
