End of Summer Conference


The annual USPTA NorCal Fall Conference is now the End of Summer Conference. We’ve moved up the dates to enable our members to meet the deadline to reach the required continuing education threshold to receive your USPTA/USTA subsidized free 2021 dues!  The conference will be free to members, so don’t miss your chance to grab this offer!

Sara Morse - Customer Service

Sara is the Executive Director of USPTA Southern California and co-creator of the USPTA Leadership Academy. She specializes in club programming and tournament management.

Peter Smith - Coaching Observations from a Tour and College Coach AND a Tennis Parent

Peter coached the USC Trojans for 17 seasons. He is currently coaching ATP player Steve Johnson, whom he coached at USC. In addition, he has three sons who play very high level tennis: Tanner, Ryley, and Colter.

Kathy Rinaldi - My Journey and What it's Taught Me as a Coach

Kathy has seen tennis from the lens of a top ten world ranked player, US Fed Cup Captain and the Lead National Coach for USTA Player Development.

Kathy Toon and Jan Brogan - Getting the Best Out of Your Adult League Players

Kathy was the Associate Head Coach of the UC Berkeley Women's team from 1990 - 2004, where she guided three doubles teams to NCAA championship wins. She serves as a sports psychology and performance consultant to college and high school teams in the SF Bay Area, and is a senior trainer for the Positive Coaching Alliance.


Jan was the head coach of the UC Berkeley Women's team for 29 years, producing four NCAA championship doubles teams and 61 All-Americans, and five conference player/team of the year honorees. Upon retirement Jan was one of only four Cal coaches to reach the 500 win mark, and the winningest coach in Cal tennis history.
