Pickleball Certification
Pickleball is part of the USPTA now, and it is a booming sport growing by the day.  The IPTPA (International Pickleball Teaching Professional Association) is partnering with the USPTA and is the organization with the most recognized certifications for pickleball teachers.  The IPTPA will be holding a certification November 10, 2019 at Lomas Santa Fe Country Club in Solana Beach.  It will start at 1:00 pm and run until 6:00 pm.  The flyer is below and attached to this eblast.  

THIS CERTIFICATION IS ONLY OPEN TO USPTA PROS!  This is a shortened version of their Level I certification.  It is shortened for USPTA pros because tennis pros already have the knowledge on how to teach racquet sport lessons, organize groups, conduct private lessons, arrange for safety of students, keep people involved and active, and many other things that tennis pros do daily.  So they are offering a shortened version of the pickleball certification for us.  Again, everyone attending this certification workshop must be USPTA certified!  

In the flyer there is an email address if you have questions.  Seymour Rifkind will be giving the class; he goes by Rif.  I understand that the fee includes the certification workshop plus the year’s dues.  So if you are thinking of getting involved with pickleball, now is the time to get your certification!
