Leslie Allen: CEO Win4Life Enterprises

Leslie Allen is an honors graduate of the University of Southern California and an ATA, NCAA, and WTA champion. She reached a world #17 Singles ranking, won a combined 9 WTA Tour singles and doubles titles, and was a French Open mixed doubles finalist. When Allen won the singles title at the Avon Championships of Detroit in 1981, she made history as the first African American woman to win a major pro tournament since Althea Gibson’s 1958 US Open victory. An International Tennis Hall of Fame awardee and member of the Eastern Tennis Hall of Fame, off-court, Allen has worn many hats in tennis; including a WTA tournament director,   a Kraft Tour global media director, a television commentator,   a top 20 player representative on the WTA board and a winning High School and Division I varsity head coach. A dynamic speaker, media trainer, and award-winning athlete development specialist, Allen, works with corporations, colleges, nonprofits, and individuals to inspire and teach the life-skills needed to be a winner “off the playing field.” Through Win4Life training, she shares her passion to educate, empower, and lead. 

Kim Bastable

As Director of the Professional Tennis Management at the University of Florida’s School of Health and Human Performance, Kim is passionate about helping to mold future tennis coaches to be great leaders who think of tennis as more than just a game. She considers tennis to be a tool of good health and strong wellbeing.

Through 50 years in tennis, Kim has mentored and led athletes and coaches both on the court and in the classroom. She had on-court success as a Division I All-America player at the University of Florida, and has coached at the high school, Division I college, and Club levels. She has been a mental toughness and performance coach for 10 years, as well.

Kim holds a Masters of Education in Positive Coaching from the University of Missouri, a B.S. in Finance from Florida, and has achieved certifications from the Human Performance Institute as a Mental Toughness Specialist; from Peak Performance Sports as a Mental Game Coach and from Notre Dame University as an Executive in Leadership.

Kim is a 30+ year USPTA Elite professional and a past division president. She lives in Leawood, Kansas with her husband, Jack.

Paula Scheb


Paula Scheb is the Director of Sports at Bonita Bay Club, which boasts 18 tennis courts, including 4 PlaySight courts, new sports center and retail area, 5 gel pickleball courts, an oversized croquet lawn, contemporary resort style pool, 5 golf courses, 20,000 square fitness center and 10,000 square foot spa.  The club has over 4,000 members.  Paula knows she has been lucky to find herself surrounded by a fantastic membership and an amazing work team including, Adam Lane, Jamie Stevenson, and Dominique Levin (all USPTA members!).

Paula has been at the Bonita Bay Club, in Southwest Florida for 25 years and is a USPTA Master Professional.  The club just finished hosting one of only four $100,000 Pro Circuit tournaments in the country!  The tournament was featured, with rave reviews, on the Tennis Channel.  
Bonita Bay Club has been recognized as a Platinum Club of America. Platinum Clubs of America represents the upper 5% of America's Top Private Clubs of Excellence, as voted by over 3,000 Club General Managers, Owners and Presidents in the recent biennial election.  In addition, “Tennis Industry” magazine named Bonita Bay Club as the 2015 Private Facility of the Year.
Paula is on the Yonex Racquet Sports national advisory staff.  She is also a highly respected and sought after speaker, at industry events around the country.   She is also part of the prestigious teaching faculty of the US Tennis Congress, a conference for adult tennis athletes, hosted by PJ Simmons/Founder.  

Paula graduated from the University of Florida with a BS degree in Business Marketing.  She played college tennis for the #2 nationally ranked Lady Gators and was a doubles All-American at UF.   

Kathy Woods

Currently consulting in the tennis industry with facilities, coaches, and players through Woods Coaching Strategies, LLC, Kathy was the first director of tennis at the United States Tennis Association (USTA) National Campus, a 100-court facility, in Orlando, Florida from August 2016 through March 2020.  Her responsibilities included the set-up and implementation of comprehensive model programming as well as the opportunity to hire a diverse staff of nearly 40 coaches balanced with equal representation of men and women.  Kathy’s past experiences included directing tennis programs in Key Biscayne, Florida, Princeton, New Jersey, and Westport, Connecticut. From 2004 until 2016, Kathy served as the director of tennis and manager of the Racquet Club of St. Petersburg, Florida.

Kathy served as national president of the United States Professional Tennis Association (USPTA) from 1994-1996 and was inducted into the USPTA's National Hall of Fame in 2018. In 1995, Kathy was the recipient of The International Tennis Hall of Fame, Educational Merit award. Throughout her career, Kathy has trained tennis professionals and has been a featured speaker at national forums and conferences in the tennis industry. She is co-author with her husband Ron of 'Playing Tennis After 50.' Kathy is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania and was inducted into the University’s Tennis Hall of Fame in 2017.
