USPTA Names Marcos del Pilar Rivero Master Professional at 2023 World Conference

LAKE NONA, Fla., Oct. 26, 2023 —The United States Professional Tennis Association, Inc. (USPTA) is proud to name Marcos del Pilar Rivero of Orlando, Fla. (Florida Division), a USPTA Master Professional.

Becoming a USPTA Master Professional is the highest rating achievable by a tennis professional. Qualified applicants must hold an Elite Professional rating for 10 years, complete the required number of education hours and fulfill a broad spectrum of industry service. The Master Professional Committee makes the final decision on the review of applicants.

Del Pilar Rivero is a former tennis and Padel pro player and pro coach. He has 25 years of experience coaching and managing racquet sports facilities. Del Pilar Rivero oversees Padel certification in the United States in partnership with the leading entities, USPTA and PadelMBA. In 2022, he was named the USPTA Professional of the Year for Central Florida. Del Pilar Rivero is the Co-Founder & Commissioner for the PRO PADEL LEAGUE in North America and the former President of the USPA (United States Padel Association). He is a Padel consultant with the United States Tennis Association and was a key leader behind the first ever Padel World Championship in the USA in 2022.
