Dr. Whitney Moore is an Associate Professor of Exercise and Sport Sciences in the Division of Kinesiology, Health & Sport Studies at Wayne State University. Her research focuses on how coaches can maximize athletes’ motivation to participate in sport and future physical activity. . In addition to publishing research articles, she enjoys bringing research supported practices to coaches through applied articles and workshops She ran an athleticism training company primarily training youth (8-18 years old), including competitive tennis players before teaching at Wayne State.

Tim Cleland is a 2008 Indiana Tennis Hall of Fame inductee and the all-time winningest coach in Indiana High School Tennis history with 1,067 victories in boys’ and girls’ tennis. His 56 seasons career record is 1,067 wins 181 losses 86% percentage. Twenty-seven of his 56 teams have reached the Top 10 State Rankings, including the 2019 girls’ team that climbed to 8th in the rankings. An amazing 45 of his 56 teams have been ranked in the Top 20 in the state poll.
