Luis Mediero (USPTA Master Professional & 1997 USPTA Professional of the Year, first member from outside US) founded and launched the Registro Profesional de Tenis - Registry of Tennis Professionals / RPT in Spain in 1989 with the aim of offering educational programs, international certification, and comprehensive services to tennis professionals and teaching centers. In 1989 he founded the International Coaches Institute to try to expand the success achieved in tennis to other sports with the same philosophy and work system, so the Registry of Tennis Professionals (RPTennis- 1989), Padel (RPPadel- 1993), Golf (RPGolf - 2002), Fitness ( RPFitness- 2006) have trained more than 100,000 sports trainers in 124 countries, in its 33-year history. Recognized as one of the main promoters of "Spanish Tennis", he has given training courses and certified more than 8,000 coaches in most Spanish communities and cities.
