Sport Court Named the Official 36’ and 60’ Courts of the USPTA

HOUSTON – The world’s market leader in sports surfacing partnered with the United States Professional Tennis Association (USPTA) to add another benefit to USPTA-certified Professionals.  Connor Sport Court International (CSCI)’s Sport Court is now the official 36’ court, 60’ court of the USPTA, as announced on Monday.

CSCI will also contribute a percentage of sales to participating members’ USPTA Retirement Gold+ accounts on Sport Court purchases for their clubs and facilities. The company becomes the seventh contributor to the USPTA retirement program since its inception in January 2014. CSCI joins leading tennis and wellness companies Prince Global Sports, Fromuth, NetKnacks, Hop-a-Razzi, Power Plate and 2XU in contributing directly to USPTA-certified Professionals’ retirement accounts.

Sport Court will provide the surface for the on-court demonstrations at the 2015 USPTA World Conference in New Orleans.  In addition, CSCI will donate two courts during the USPTA’s annual convention. One court will be donated to the USPTA’s Division of the Year award winner, and another court will be donated to be sold at the annual silent auction for the USPTA Foundation, which raises money to benefit underserved communities through tennis.

“CSCI recognizes the influence of the tennis-teaching professional, and this partnership allows USPTA to expand its Retirement Gold+ program by rewarding those participating members who support Sport Court surfaces,” USPTA CEO John Embree said.

More athletic events are played on Connor Sport Court surfaces than on any other sports flooring in the world. CSCI is the world’s largest provider of suspended surfaces, hardwood flooring and synthetic surfaces and has the world’s largest domestic and international distributor and dealer network.

“Sport Court is excited to partner with the world’s largest association of tennis-teaching professionals,” said Ron Cerny, Connor Sport Court President and CEO. “The USPTA is helping lead the charge along with Sport Court to ‘Reimagine tennis’ where their members can teach longer and players can play tennis longer on Sport Court’s engineered safe surfaces.”
