USPTA Partners With Tennis Coaches Australia-Victoria
HOUSTON – In an effort to expand its international reach, the United States Professional Tennis Association (USPTA) has partnered with Tennis Coaches Australia – Victoria (TCAV) in an effort to provide additional resources and promotion to tennis-teaching professionals, as announced on Tuesday.
Both associations will work together to exchange information on education, best practices and management for their respective memberships.
“USPTA has always welcomed international tennis-teaching professionals into our organization, and this partnership will allow us to offer our services and benefits to those teaching pros in Victoria,” said USPTA CEO John Embree. “We look forward to welcoming TCAV members to USPTA educational events and conferences, and pooling our resources to expand our efforts to help grow the industry and the sport.”
TCAV members with a Tennis Australia “Club Professional” qualification or above will have the opportunity to become a USPTA International member, including international member benefits. In addition, TCAV members will have the opportunity to attend the annual USPTA World Conference at the USPTA member rate.
“TCAV is delighted to forge an alliance with USPTA and to jointly promote and enhance the status and lives of tennis-teaching professionals,” said TCAV President Julie Fidler. “A group of proactive TCAV coaches are excited to be participating in the inaugural TCAV Coaches Tour to New Orleans this September to attend the USPTA World Conference. TCAV looks forward to a mutually rewarding association with USPTA.”
